Contribute to Kenya Yetu

We are not currently accepting proposals for inclusion in Kenya Yetu magazine.

However, Gecko Publishing produces other magazines, including Msafiri (Kenya Airways), The Option (Safaricom) and Travel Africa. Should you have an idea for a contribution to either of those magazines we would be interested in hearing from you.

Submissions will be scrutinised by our editorial team, who will decide which articles will be selected for publication in the magazine.

If you would like to propose a story or make a submission, please email it to kenyayetu@geckomags.com.

Editorial contracting decisions will be made at monthly editorial planning meetings, so please allow time for your submission to be considered.

All ideas welcomed!
Even if you yourself don’t wish to contribute material to Kenya Yetu, we would still like to hear your ideas! Tell us what you would like to read about, or let us know about an extraordinary person in your neighbourhood, or if there is anything you’d like to find out about – as long as it’s about Kenya, we’ll do our best to follow up on your ideas, suggestions or questions.

It’s your magazine – so help us to shape the magazine that you want to read!

Absolutely that is the plan and discussions are underway already. We had to start with Nairobi for convenience, but before too long it will be in all major centres. Thank you for your enthusiasm.

At the moment I’m afraid we don’t have any direct distribution in Kisumu but we are working on it. And we are also hoping to start a subscription service soon so copies can be sent directly to you. Remember that the digital emag versions are always available on our website.

    Hi
I have shifted recently to Nairobi. Kenya yetu, when i read was like i was associating myself with the place. Fanckly, everything seemed strange but now i relate myself to it. Right from lifestyle tips to professional behavior. Today i have learnt something special from the magazine, thanks to you guys. And, if i can contribute anything to Kenya yetu, i would be more than happy.
